Peter Tagliamonte, P.Eng., MBA
President & CEO; Director

Mr. Tagliamonte is a professional mining engineer with over 25 years of progressive managerial experience building and operating mines. He was formerly the CEO and a Director of Sulliden Gold Corp. (acquired by Rio Alto Mining), President and CEO of Central Sun Mining Inc. (acquired by B2Gold) and Chief Operating Officer of Desert Sun Mining Corp. (acquired by Yamana) where he was responsible for the development of the Jacobina Mine in Brazil into a 4,200-tonne-per-day mining operation. In 2005, Mr. Tagliamonte received the Mining Journal's "Mine Manager of the Year" award in recognition for his work in the mining sector. Mr. Tagliamonte obtained his Mining Engineering degree at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario; he also holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Ian Pritchard

Mr. Pritchard is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in project and operations management in the mining industry both in North America as well as internationally, including, in particular, Brazil. Mr. Pritchard’s mining experience includes the management of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, engineering, procurement and construction management projects. He has held senior executive positions at various organizations worldwide including SNC-Lavalin and De Beers Canada.

Ryan Ptolemy
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Ptolemy is a CPA, CGA and CFA charter holder and obtained a B.A. from Western University. He serves as CFO to a number of public and private companies in the mining sector, particularly exploration and development stage companies in South America. Mr. Ptolemy formerly served as CFO for an independent investment dealer in Toronto where he was responsible for financial reporting, auditing, budgeting and internal controls.

Joe Milbourne, FAusIMM
Vice President Technical Services

Mr. Milbourne is a metallurgist with over 40 years of experience in the development, design, construction and management of mineral processing projects in North America, South America and overseas. Mr. Milbourne is the former Vice President of Technical Services and Operations for Sulliden Gold Corp., which was acquired by Rio Alto in 2014. Prior to that, he was Technical Director AMEC Mining and Metals where he oversaw process engineering and has international experience with BHP, Eldorado and Cominco. He has a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a M.S. in Metallurgy from the University of Utah. Mr. Milbourne is a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a registered member of SME.

Stéphane Amireault, MScA., P.Eng.
Vice President Exploration

Mr. Amireault, MScA, P.Eng., holds a master’s degree in Applied Sciences from École Polytechnique of the University of Montréal and is a member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. Mr. Amireault has over 25 years of experience in mineral exploration, particularly in Central and South America. He was formerly the Vice President of Exploration for Sulliden Gold Corporation Ltd. until its acquisition by Rio Alto Mining in 2014.

Caroline Arsenault, B.Des.

Miss Arsenault has been managing Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for various mining companies since 2008. From 2009-2014 she was Manager of Investor Relations for Sulliden Gold Corp., a publicly traded gold development company with projects in Peru and Quebec. She has also provided consulting services to several other mining companies, including Central Sun Mining, Mason Graphite, Copper One, and Dacha Strategic Metals. She holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design from OCAD University in Toronto.

Rodrigo Costa

Mr. Rodrigues has over 30 years of technical and operational experience in the Brazilian mining industry, specifically in the mining and processing of gold ore, hydrometallurgical processes and occupational safety. During his professional career, he has been responsible for the implementation, management, construction, commissioning and operation of projects of renowned mining companies such as Mineração Morro Velho, Votorantim, Desert Sun Mining, Yamana Gold, Jacobina Mineração, Vanadium de Maracás and Serabi Mineração in Pará. Mr. Costa is a graduate from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), and also holds a Masters degree in Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada.

Prior to joining Belo Sun in 2010, Mr. Barros was a Senior Associate at Azevedo Sette Advogados, one of the biggest business law firms in Latin America, where he helped facilitate cross-border investments and M&A deals totalling over USD 5 billion. He is also a former employee of Vale and Arcelor Mittal, working in the capital markets and projects acquisitions areas. Mr. Barros holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, a post-graduate degree in Economics and Business Law from FGV, and an LLB designation from UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil).

Ricardo de Freitas Lopes
Exploration & Project Manager

Mr. Lopes has 21 years of extensive experience working with regional and detailed gold, platinum, palladium, copper, nickel and phosphorous exploration projects in Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Canada, Norway and Sweden. Mr. Lopes served most recently as Technical Manager for International Nickel Ventures and Country Manager for Blackstone Ventures in Sweden. Prior to that he served as the Chief Project Geologist for Falconbridge/Xstrata on the Araguaia Nickel Laterite Project (greenfield Ni discovery) in Brazil. He was also part of the team that reviewed and tested the low grade Aurizona Gold Projects for Luna Gold Corp. Mr. Lopes also holds an M.B.A. from Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil.
